SO HOT OUT

Yesterday took Kierstin to blockbuster to return a movie... she freaked out because I was holding her.. and as soon as I put her down she took off running... We ran around the store for about 5 minutes until she realized she could start pulling things of the shelves! As soon as I picked her up she started screaming and kicking to get back down and explore... So I let her down one more time and followed her around the store. One lady said "I see whos in charge here"... I'm sure Kierstin was thinking "Duh lady... it's me". We headed to Shopko.. and babisrus.. the UPS store... and the clinic.. in which all places she acted the same! Wanted to run free.. It was a eventful trip thats for sure!


Kierstin has mastered saying kitty now.... and getting good at saying ball too... She's growing up so fast! Less than 3 months until her first birthday :(

It's so hot out today! Probably just stay in and take advantage of the AC!

Random Weekend....

Hi! Well the weekend if coming to a end :( Already! Friday night I went to the movie No reservations with my friend Ruth! Good movie! Probably a good thing I saw it too... Jamie probably wouldn't of wanted to see such a chick flick. He's so manly-- although he did just come in and tell me he was watching Parent Trap... mmmhmmm.

Saturday Kierstin and I went to Target with Ruth and Ayla... and then back to their place to hang out (cause trouble). It was great to see them both. Ayla is so beautiful and tiny (especially compared to chooch). I'm sure Kierstin is looking forward to teaching Ayla a few things when she gets a little bigger.... like how to get into everything... and how to be a turd while getting your diaper changed (SHE'S A PRO AT THAT). After that we went home and chilled out. Kierstin went to bed kinda early so we watched the movie The Guardian... good movie... I had a little to much wine and fell asleep before the end. finished it today though (the movie not the wine). Jamie woke up with Kierstin this morning so I slept until almost 10! Haven't done that in a really really LONG time! It was nice :D We did a little shopping today at the Johnson Creek Outlet mall! Kierstin did pretty good until the end where she decided the stroller just wasn't good enough and had to walk herself! =)

Our little Chooch

I have so much to say about Kierstin... About her little things, her huge milestones, the way she is proudly walking around! (running) Her teeth shining over the afternoon sun. Her games she is playing (you say "kierstin give that to mommy" and she'll hold her hand out like she's going to give it to you and at the last minutes she'll take it back and start running with it.. usually screaming and laughing). How much joy she brings us! How she pretends to talk. She has mastered the weeping and whining technique, softly saying ma-ma ma-ma ma-ma and lifting her arms up. The way she dances to any sort of music (she dances to the sound the dishwasher makes). You can just say the word "dance" and she'll shake her tush. Her mood swings.. laughing like crazy and then crying a second later... or vise versa. The way she waves bye bye now to everyone as they walk out the door! How she chaises the cats around and trys to say "kitty". She loves to give our cat hazel kisses! And really likes to pull her hair/tail.. poor cats!

Yesterday we had a volleyball game and she survived going to the daycare at the athletic club! (usually she cries the whole time). When I went to pick her up I saw her trying to pull someones hair! And she was carrying a big tub of toys around.. probably bigger than she was... she must of thought she was the biggest baddest kid there.. hogging all the toys! Beating up on the kids! She sure can be a handful!!!.... getting into everything... and being a drama queen on top of that! She sure is keeping us busy! She is growing strong and healthy and happy and very independent.
