It's been awhile... I know

This isn't new.. . but had to post it...because it's just so cute! Speaking of that picture- come September there will be another new addition to take pictures of :o)

I've been slacking on writing on our blog lately... We have been pretty busy. Jamie and I spent the last week or so painting our Kitchen. Red. (Cherry cobbler)... It took us one coat of primer and 4 coats of Red Paint.. it was a lot of work thats for sure.. but It looks really nice! I've always wanted a Red kitchen.. Finally, I got one :o)


I can't believe it's March already- I don't feel Spring is coming anytime soon :( It's Jamie's "birthday month" or so he says. I like to say it's My birthday month in July- I spoil myself in July. But, I think the spoiling doesn't take place until your birthday through the end of the month. So mine would be the 5th- 31st. To bad Jamies birthday is on the 31st... so he only gets one day. Haha

Well I have loads of laundry to do, whats new. So I better get to it! Oh and in case you were thinking that I was pregnant- it's my sister who will be adding an addition to the family in September!

I officially hate winter

Okay.. Does this feel like the LONGEST winter EVER??????? I'm pretty sure I say this every year.. but I really mean it this time! Snow, Freezing Rain, Fog, below zero temps--- wind, ICE.. Come on ALREADY!!!!! I've noticed that everything takes longer in the winter- EVERYTHING! The smallest thing is made more difficult by all the heavy clothes and stiff gloved fingers. Why is it that the snowdrift between me and my destination is ALWAYS 2 inches taller than whatever footwear I'm wearing!

Things are going okay here. Kierstin has a cold :( and she hasn't been eating much- something she's always been good at doing. She seems more interested in playing with the food. She's caught on to that if she puts the food on her head.. she'll get a bath. So it's a every meal thing now. Today for lunch she put her plate on her head and said "bath". She's a smart cookie- I figured I'd wait until after supper- whats the point now?

A couple days ago Kierstin pooped in the potty chair. She was pretty confused about it and pointed at it and said with a weird look on her face "kitty" - It was so funny. She is very curious about the potty chair these days.... Likes to sit on it and brush her teeth (although she likes to do anything while brushing her teeth).

I'd like to post some pictures- but honestly I haven't taken any pictures lately :( I don't think kierstin's nose would stop running long enough for me to snap some pictures.. my poor baby girl. So instead of showing you thee cutest little girl in the world.. I'm gonna show you some inspirational pictures- to get you through this cold crappy weather!
